I am often asked the question, “Is grant writing something I can do?” Well, the good news is that you don’t have to be Shakespeare to be a professional grant writer. A well-written grant proposal is just straightforward information that has been correctly plugged into the individual application. Flowery language, in fact, is frowned upon in the grant writing world. Concise, simple sentence structure free of jargon is an important key of being a strong grant writer.
